What’s the process?

Just like each event is different, each client is different. We’re here to listen to your vision and create a concept, or completely start from scratch and show you what your event can become.

From first communication, we’ll work with you to deliver a clear design plan including any and everything you need: floral and container selections, linens and rental items, custom backdrops, signage, or printed goods, and more. Our goal is to refine your style by sharing inspiration and concepts created just for you.

Here at Stems, we’ll start with an initial call to discuss all of your details, and then decide on an overall budget range you’re comfortable with.
From there, the real fun begins: scheduling venue walkthroughs, creating floor plans, selecting color palettes, vases, decor pieces, and fabric swatches, and seeing it all come to life on paper. Once we have your approval on the details, the rest is up to us! Our team will execute and deliver everything discussed behind the scenes, so you can enjoy every second of your special day without a second thought.

Day-of Floral Delivery

for the Bride or Client who enjoys the simple touches that make an event space come to life, without any ‘extras…’ 

After discussing your event, we’ll provide you with a base package and pricing for seasonal floral arrangements and/or ceremony personal flowers, based on your color palette. Once we establish the specifics, our team will deliver your pieces day-of. At the conclusion of your wedding or event, you or your guests take home the floral pieces, and continue to admire them!

Full Service Floral Design

for the Bride or Client who wants a customized floral plan and design overview tailored to their venue…

We’ll work with you to create an overall floral design based on your inspiration and venue, and provide a mood board laying out all of the details. This option includes delivery, onsite set-up, onsite styling of additional areas (fireplaces or window sills, entrance tables, powder rooms, etc), and breakdown, as needed, at the evening’s end.

Full Service Wedding / Event Design

for the Bride or Client who wants ‘the works...’

Full Service Floral Design, plus all of the extras! We’ll work with you to create not only a floral design, but we’ll put together suggested tabletop decor, compile a customized rental selection, show specialty linens, and make sure we add those special touches throughout your venue (signage, custom ‘branded’ materials, backdrops, etc). We’ll provide you with a customized floor plan to be sure you’re maximizing your space, and collaborate with the venue and other onsite vendors to be sure everything is set to perfection.

Do you offer ‘A La Carte’ Services?

Definitely! Whether it’s a custom backdrop, designing special signage, or creating a space floor plan…we’re available to help. We’re happy to customize a proposal and pricing to fit your needs, so feel free to mix and match any of the services offered above.

What if I need something that you haven’t listed?

Send us an email, or give us a call. We work with an array of amazing vendors in the industry that offer anything you could need. We’re happy to make suggestions and put you in touch with the best contact, or collaborate with our favorite vendors for you, for a coordination fee.

How many projects do you take on in a day?

We want every client to feel like their event or wedding is our most important, so we’ll never take on more than we can handle. Depending on the parameters, we tend to stick to one special event a day so we can give you and your event all of our undivided attention.

Is there a minimum budget to work with you?

Every event, design, client, space…is different, which means pricing varies. The best way to gauge a budget for your event is to provide us with a rundown of the details, so we can provide a range for your approval before preparing a formal proposal. That being said, it’s always helpful to have a max budget in mind for your floral & decor prior to reaching out!

 
 

Speaking of pricing…what does a ‘typical’ Stems wedding cost?

As we mentioned, there are many factors that will dictate your final pricing, but here’s a breakdown of an ‘average’ $8k Stems wedding for 125 guests, using seasonal blooms. A wedding at this price point typically includes the following:

-Floral for bride, groom, 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, 2 moms, 2 dads
-Ceremony floral for an existing structure & floral and/or candle aisle decor
-Simple cocktail table floral/decor
-Place card board floral accent
-Roughly 13 tablescapes including low floral centerpiece & decorative candles
-Sweetheart table design, including repurposed ceremony floral
-Stems fee for design & pre-production, delivery, onsite installation, breakdown, and post production 

With a higher budget, a couple might have a larger bridal party, need for a rental ceremony structure or ask for a more detailed ceremony floral installation, request a custom designed & built place card board, envision tabletop upgrades like rental napkins, glassware, charger plates, etc., or want a design heavy with upgraded premium blooms like peonies, orchids, garden roses, ranunculus, etc.
