Above all, we want to make the design process as enjoyable for you as possible. Whether it be a wedding or special event, choosing your overall look & feel should be an exciting process, and we’re along for the ride! We currently service NJ/NY/PA/CT & beyond.
Melissa began her design career in hospitality design, creating solutions for boutique hotels in NYC. She transitioned to residential design, where she honed her skills working for several Manhattan interior designers. She was then met with a great opportunity to step into the event world, and took her interior design skills with her. Never looking back, Melissa has been concentrating on event & floral design since…designing everything from corporate events, to weddings, and everything in between. When Melissa met Emily, she knew it was “meant to be,” & Stems was created.
Emily ‘formally’ started in the industry during her junior semester in college while interning for a wedding planner in Red Bank, NJ. After graduating, she landed a full-time job working for a luxury floral & event design company, and the rest is history. After coordinating countless incredible projects and working alongside a list of notable industry favorites for the past 9+ years, she decided to venture a bit outside of her comfort zone to freelance and gain even more floral experience. When Emily met Melissa, the pieces fell into place, and Stems quickly grew from the ground up.
